- Not many people know that he was responsible for one of the most overused catchphrases of the 1990s. In 1992 he appeared in a commercial for Rally's Burgers as an obnoxious drive-thru cashier who kept repeating the line "Cha-CHING!!" over and over again and the line entered the popular culture.
- At 13-years-old, he played Alyson Hannigan's boyfriend 'Fred' in Ho sposato un'aliena (1988). Ten years later, at the age of 23, he played her boyfriend again when he landed the role of 'Oz' on the TV show Buffy l'ammazzavampiri (1997).
- Based the gravelly voice of Chris Griffin in I Griffin (1999) on the Buffalo Bill character from Il silenzio degli innocenti (1991).
- Loves action figures and has his own of Scott Evil.

- According to Jason Mewes the studio did not want Mewes to return as Jay in Mallrats because they was skeptical that he could pull it off. So the studio had both Breckin Meyer and Seth Green to audition for the role of Jay. The studio even had Seth Green to be standing ready if Mewes did not impress them enough. So because of that Seth Green was almost cast as Jay.
