When she started acting, she had trouble getting roles because she was often taller than the male actors with whom she might have acted.

Much of her youth was wiped from her memory, as she suffered a case of retrograde amnesia due to a severe head injury suffered in a fall from a horse. On July 16, 2018, she announced on Facebook that suffers from a serious form of dementia, believed to be a result of that injury. In November 2018, it was announced that she was in the late stages of dementia and was receiving hospice care at home.

I love being the queen of B movies. It's like staying in high school forever and being crowned prom queen every year.

I'm so tall and aggressive that, at first, people are nervous around me. Then they realize that I'm a gentle giant. I've had love scenes with men who are 5'4". We make it work but it tends to be comical, like a poodle and German shepherd going at it.

[being older but still posing nude] I am already getting away with murder here at my age with modeling and having these photographers think I'm still a young model. I'm 41 and still making my living in a g-string. It's a lot of work, I'm at the gym every morning.
