Just like they did in March when they broke the Internet, Christopher Meloni and Mariska Hargitay are at the center of news of a potential reunion on Season 27. Meloni posted to Instagram, posing with Hargitay as well as Dann Florek saying: "Hangin with friends on a Friday nite @therealmariskahargitay@dannflorek." While it's only been a few years since Florek and Hargitay, as well as Florek and Meloni, and of course Hargitay and Meloni have shared the screen, the three have not shared the screen together since 2011.

The 61-year-old Emmy-winning actress was joined by husband Peter Hermann and their three kids – August, 18, Amaya, 14, and Andrew, 13 – at the premiere of her directorial debut My Mom Jayne on Friday evening (June 13) held at Carnegie Hall in New York City.

For those who don’t know, Mariska is the daughter of legendary actress Jayne Mansfield and the documentary follows her legacy. The documentary revealed a shocking family secret – the identity of Mariska‘s biological father.

Cast members are celebrating and some are even crediting fans for the recent news of the return of Kelli Giddish toLaw & Order: Special Victims Unit. Last month, it was announced Giddish would return to the police procedural as a series regular after departing as one in Season 24. Giddish wouldn't completely disappear, with her character Sgt. Amanda Rollins making frequent guest star appearances after leaving Svu. Now, one of her long-term castmates, Ice-t, who plays Sgt. Odafin "Fin" Tutola, is talking about his excitement for Giddish's return and why it happened. In an interview with TVLine, at an event at Raising Cane’s in New York City’s Times Square, the rapper turned actor said, "No one really expected her to leave the show. We got blindsided by that. But the fans said they wanted to see Kelli back, so she’s coming back." Ice-t says, "Kelli is dope. Me and her were teammates and partners.

Exclusive: Mark Feuerstein has joined the cast of Courtney A. Kemp and Tani Marole’s new Netflix series, Nemesis, in a recurring role.

He will not return as Steven Ott from the Power franchise, which Kemp created; instead, he will play Sam Morrow, a high-powered attorney and total shark willing to toe the ethical line in the name of protecting his clients. Kelli Giddish is returning to Law & Order: Svu as a series regular in season 27, according to Deadline, reprising her role as Sgt. Amanda Rollins. It's exciting news today for Svu and Kelli Giddish fans, who saw Giddish exit Svu full-time and be reduced to a recurring role beginning in season 24. However, Giddish will now return as a full-fledged member of the cast next season.

Giddish, who joined the Law & Order:svu cast in season 13 in the wake of Christopher Meloni's departure as series regular in season 12, portrayed Rollins as a series regular until the midpoint of season 24, when her character departed Svu to take a teaching job at Fordham University and was subsequently moved to recurring status. In season 26, it was revealed that Rollins had left academia and joined the NYPD's Intelligence Unit, explaining her absence from the show due to extensive traveling.

Mariska Hargitay has spent two and a half decades portraying the fan favorite Law & Order: Special Victims Unit character Olivia Benson. Of course, nothing lasts forever, and Hargitay has commented on when her run in the role might end.

Hargitay discussed her future as Benson in a new interview with E! Online. While she's wondered herself exactly when the end of her portrayal will come, Hargitay confirmed that she's not ready to step away from the role anytime soon. Even though she has been playing Olivia Benson since the debut of Law & Order: Svu in 1999, she still feels like there's a lot more she wants to do with the character, explaining that she's still feeling fulfilled with her job as things currently stand.

From continues to garner high acclaim as it nears the halfway point for Season 3. Ahead of the premiere of Season 3, Episode 5 on MGM+, Cbr can premiere an early sneak peek clip.

Titled "The Light of Day," the fifth episode of From Season 3 is written by Brigitte Hales and John Griffin. In the clip, Boyd Stevens (Harold Perrineau) does his best to calm everyone down and figure out their next move amid major disagreements on what to do next. When Justin Chambers exited Grey's Anatomy in 2020 after 16 seasons, his goal was to go on and diversify his portfolio with roles different from Dr Alex Karev. It's taken four years, but his plans are gradually coming together as the actor's second post-Grey's project is releasing tonight. Chambers is among the ensemble to join Season 2 of the anthology series, Accused which tells a distinct story per episode. He will appear in Season 2, Episode 3, titled, April's Story, starring alongside Taylor Schilling (Orange Is the New Black), and Danny Pino (Law & Order: Svu). Heading into the second season of “Accused,” series developer Howard Gordon and showrunner Daniel Pearle didn’t have a clear overarching theme in mind. What they had instead was a goal.

Exclusive: Sonequa Martin-Green, Mike Colter, Jamie Chung, Sherri Saum, and Kiara Barnes have joined Season 2 of Fox’s crime procedural Accused.

Martin-Green and Colter will lead the finale, titled “Megan’s Story,” as Megan and John, respectively. Barnes play Eve in the same episode, in which a music executive’s marriage to her husband is threatened by a beautiful seductress.

Chung will play the character Grace in “Eugene’s Story,” and Saum will play the character Erica in “Justin’s Story.”

In “Eugene’s Story,” a kind-hearted jewelry store owner is put on trial after his wife’s past throws their present into chaos. “Justin’s Story” sees a wrestling coach is on trial after he pushes his star wrestler too far.

The new cast joins some heavy hitters who have already been announced for Season 2, including Felicity Huffman, Taylor Schilling, Patrick J. Adams, William H. Macy, Justin Chambers, Danny Pino and Nick Cannon.

The trail has gone cold on a Cold Case reboot, which is no longer in the works at CBS.

According to our sister site Deadline, the Eye Network is not moving forward with a new iteration of its 2003-2010 crime procedural, which was reportedly in the works as of this past April.

Reps for CBS and Warner Bros. Television did not immediately respond to TVLine’s request for comment.

The trailer for Accused season 2 reveals the high-stakes story to come for the Fox crime drama, including an appearance from Suits star Patrick J. Adams. Developed by Homeland co-creator Alex Gansa and based on the British show of the same name, Accused is among the shows returning to Fox in just a few weeks. It's an anthology that puts the spotlight on defendants as they go on trial, with each episode bringing in new guest actors and focusing on a new story.

TVLine has shared the trailer for Accused season 2, ahead of the show's return on Tuesday, October 8 at 8 Pm Et on Fox.

After the Accused season 1 guest cast included the likes of Rachel Bilson, known for The O.C. and Heart of Dixie and The Americans star Margo Martindale, the preview highlights some of the familiar faces to come.

Fox’s Accused has added four actors to its season two cast. Cobie Smulders, Vella Lovell, Dina Shihabi, and Isabel Arraiza have joined the crime anthology series for the upcoming season.

In addition, Fox unveiled a short trailer teasing the fictional cases and timely subject matters that will be featured in the new season.

Fox has added several new faces to Season 2 of Howard Gordon’s Accused. Cobie Smulders, Vella Lovell, Dina Shihabi and Isabel Arraiza will join the upcoming installment of the crime anthology series.

They join some heavy hitters who have already been announced for Season 2, including Felicity Huffman, Taylor Schilling, Patrick J. Adams, William H. Macy, Justin Chambers, Danny Pino and Nick Cannon. Michael Chiklis is also returning in front of and behind the camera, after starring in the premiere and directing a later episode in Season 1.

Fox has pushed the season 2 premiere of anthology crime series Accused to Tuesday, October 8 from its original October 1 date due to the recently scheduled vice presidential debate between Governor Tim Walz (D-mn) and Sen. J.D. Vance (R-oh), hosted by CBS News.

The season 2 premiere will air at 8 pm on October 8, followed by Murder in a Small Town. The second episode of Murder in a Small Town will still air on October 1, but now at 8 pm, followed by the debate, the network said Friday.

Titled “Lorraine’s Story,” the first episode of this new season will see Huffman as Lorraine, a woman who embeds herself into a family after claiming to see a psychic vision of their missing child. Macy’s role has yet to be announced. The episode will premiere on Oct. 1.

“We like crime shows, at least some of us do,” writer and producer Chris Brancato told IndieWire. “We like gangster shows. We like watching people do the things that we would never do ourselves. And yet, they’ve all been done a million times.”

His own oeuvre seems to support that — but only at first glance. The creator of “Narcos,” “Godfather of Harlem,” and now MGM+’s “Hotel Cocaine” would seem to have found a very buzzy (buzzed?) niche for himself as the prestige crime saga guy. But there’s more going on than just blow.

With “Narcos,” Brancato insisted to Netflix that the actors speak in Spanish, just as the real-life characters did. And “Godfather of Harlem” opened itself up to him once he discovered that Malcolm X was friends with crime boss Bumpy Johnson. Season 2 of Fox's anthology crime series Accused will feature some of your favorite stars as a new set of A-list names have been announced to join the sophomore season. Taylor Schilling (Orange Is The New Black), Justin Chambers (Greys Anatomy) and Danny Pino (Mayans M.C.) will feature together in a Season 2 episode, according to Deadline. They join already announced Felicity Huffman, William H. Macy, Nick Cannon, and Michael Chiklis whose roles have not been revealed.

Every episode of the MGM + series Hotel Cocaine pulls Roman Compte deeper into the Miami drug trade. Yet it's not just Roman's story; the women in the show are some of the best-written female characters in TV dramas. Roman's girlfriend Marisol, his daughter Valeria and Janice Nichols are far more than pretty faces or sources of personal drama; they all play important parts in the complete story.

Cbr spoke to actors Tania Watson (who plays Marisol), Corina Bradley (Valeria) and Laura Gordon (Janice) about their roles in Hotel Cocaine. Michael Chiklis has played a lot of cops, but none like Agent Dominic Zulio in the MGM+ series Hotel Cocaine. Conversely, no one would ever have imagined former Royal Pains star Mark Feuerstein as drug-addicted hippie Burton Greenberg. Yet that's what makes their performances so interesting. Both actors take the audience's presuppositions about their roles and turn them upside down.

As Hotel Cocaine continues its run on MGM+, Cbr spoke to Chiklis and Feuerstein about what drew them to their respective roles. Since the three-season series ended, we have gotten a Mexico-set spin-off and the promise of more. The creators have gone their separate ways with Miro running Netflix series Griselda, also based on a true story about the infamous title queenpin. Now, Brancato has reunited with Narcos director Guillermo Navarro for a new series, Hotel Cocaine, also inspired by a true crime tale but heavily fictionalized for a pulpy good time.
