His son, Mason Thomas Watson, was born in 1969.

Attended San Francisco State, and then applied to, and was accepted, at RADA (Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts) in London.

As Bill Watson, he served as student body vice-president his senior year at Elk Grove High School. Elk Grove, California. His older brother, Tom, served as student body president two years earlier.
