- Blonde, curly-haired supporting actress or second lead of 1930's and 40's German films. She was trained for acting by Ilka Grüning und Lucie Höflich and made her stage debut in 1927. She acted at various Berlin theatres (as well as touring South America in the late 20's) before appearing regularly on screen.
- Her film appearances became more seldom in the next years, she only took part occasionally in movies, and after the movie "Erzieherin gesucht" (1945) she retired from the film business.
