  • Von Koczian moved to a nursing home in the Grunewald district in 2017, withdrawing from public life.
  • In the late 50's she was named "the German Audrey Hepburn".
  • She has been working as a writer since 1977, initially as an author of children's and young adult literature. Based on her two novellas (Abenteuer in der Vollmondnacht and Der geheimnisvolle Graf , Adventures on the Night of the Full Moon and The Mysterious Count), the thirteen-part television series On the Road to Atlantis (Unterwegs nach Atlantis) was created in 1982, and as a sequel she wrote the young adult novel Escape from the Island ( Flucht von der Insel).
  • In 2010, at age 77, she portrayed Florence Foster Jenkins, "the worst opera singer in the world", in the comedy Glorious! at the Theater am Kurfürstendamm in Berlin to great success.
