Exclusive: Shout! Studios has re-acquired the previously held worldwide home entertainment, broadcast and digital distribution rights for Paul Reubens’ Pee-wee’s Playhouse. In addition, the studio has newly acquired AVOD (advertising supported video on demand) rights, bringing the show to AVOD and the streaming service Shout! TV for the first time as part of the deal. Shout! TV channels include Mystery Science Theater 3000, The Carol Burnett Show, Johnny Carson TV, TokuSHOUTsu, Alf, Farscape, Non-Stop ’90s, and Wild West TV.

Under the pact, Shout! Studios now has extensive distribution rights to all 45 episodes of Pee-wee’s Playhouse as well as Pee-wee’s Playhouse Christmas Special. You can watch a promo below.

A crime drama, this TV series follows the only female member of the Texas Rangers. A former beauty queen and the daughter of a sheriff, Molly Parker (Tricia Helfer) is a no-nonsense woman who's committed to finding the truth and seeing justice served.

The Rangers are led by Company Commander Luis Zea (Alex Fernandez). While her fellow Rangers have her back, she's also surrounded by law enforcement colleagues who want to see her fail -- including Police Lieutenant Guillermo Salazar (Vic Trevino).

Mere moments after Molly arrives at the scene of a shooting, the smarmy lieutenant (Vic Trevino) takes shots — of a different nature — at her, implying that she only got her job because she’s a woman. But hey, what do you expect from a guy who suggests the shooter will be easy to spot with “that face and ass.”

Methinks the police department might need to start vetting its staff better in the future.

Shout! Factory has announced that they have officially secured the distribution rights for the Emmy Award-winning “Pee-wee’s Playhouse”, the popular kids show starring Paul Reubens that ran every Saturday morning from 1986-1991. With the media company’s latest acquisition, all of the episodes from the series are currently being remastered and prepared for a huge Blu-ray box set that will include all 45 episodes as well as bonus content that’s due to arrive in 2014.

“We could not be more excited to collaborate with Paul Reubens on this fantastic venture,” stated Shout! founders Richard Foos, Bob Emmer and Garson Foos. “We are thrilled that this extensive restoration project is underway and look forward to presenting the series for the first time in incredible high-definition.”

At ABC‘s upfront, there were a few things that the network wanted to make sure you knew. 1) They are really impressed with the idea that people are going to watch Rebel Wilson do just about anything, and 2) There isn’t anything they’re happier about than bringing you more episodes of television created by Shonda Rhimes.

On these notes, the network would love for you to know that more Grey’s Anatomy and Scandal are coming your way. These, ABC would like to impress upon you (as advertisers) are really good shows. Because… hellllooo… so many people watch them that we’re bringing them back. But wait, don’t think that you’re as excited as you can get yet, because if those are your favorite shows, then we have a new one for you to fall in love with, Betrayal.

The Fall TV Season presentations for all the new network shows take place this week with the third announced earlier today. Here's a full breakdown of which concepts have made the final list over on ABC.

The network is changing up some of its serialized dramas - removing random repeats in favor of two "uninterrupted runs" of twelve episodes each (one in the fall, one in the spring) for shows like "Once Upon A Time," "Grey’s Anatomy," "Scandal" and "Revenge". The large gaps between the two half-seasons will be bridged by "limited series" designed around only 12-13 episode seasons.

Several other pilots didn't make the final cut and won't be seen including the high-profile "League of Extraordinary Gentlemen" rip-off "Gothica", McG's rip-off of Baz Luhrmann's "Romeo + Juliet" entitled "Westside", the series based on Disneyland's Big Thunder Mountain ride, the Annie Potts-led "Murder in Manhattan" about...

Great news from ABC: The network has ordered additional seasons of its soapy dramas Nashville, Scandal and Grey’s Anatomy, as well as another year of Castle.

The network also rounded out its drama orders by renewing Revenge and Once Upon A Time. On the comedy side, it’s bringing back Modern Family (no duh), The Middle, Suburgatory, Last Man Standing, and The Neighbors.

As for new shows, ABC announced the pickup of comedy Super Fun Night, a Rebel Wilson starrer about a junior attorney and her two best friends, who have a standing date every Friday night for the last 13 years.
