McM Expo/London Comic Con returns to ExCel London on 25th – 27th October. As well as hosting a galaxy of great sci-fi, movie, games, comics, anime and cosplay content, they’ve also got their usual huge line up of special guests – with more guests being added all the time! see www.mcmcomiccon.com for the latest London Comic Con news – but here’s a round-up of who’s been announced so far:

Red hot fantasy-noir show Lost Girl is coming to McM London Comic Com, with stars Ksenia Solo (Black Swan, Life Unexpected) and Rachel Skarsten (Transporter: The Series, Birds Of Prey) plus executive producer Jay Firestone (Andromeda, La Femme Nikita). The highly-anticipated and long awaited new series of Young Dracula finally hits our screens this Monday 31st December 5:15pm on the Cbbc channel.

This third series, first reported by Screenterrier back in March, follows the next chapter in the life of Vlad, the teenage son of Count Dracula.

Vlad is now a fully fledged vampire, honing and testing his new powers. The Count (Keith-Lee Castle) knows that Vlad, the chosen one, needs to be kept safe while he learns the tools to fulfil his destiny. But, as usual, The Count's good intentions are undermined by his tendency to create drama and mayhem on a daily basis.

Gerran Howell returns to star as young Vlad, the son of Count Dracula, who accepts the useful things amongst his vampire powers, (fast speed, lighting candles etc) but would rather not be a fully-fledged, bloodthirsty, mayhem causing, breather hating evil kind of vampire.

Screenterrier reported back in March that the popular Cbbc series Young Dracula would be returning for a third series, with Clare Thomas to return as Ingrid, and Gerran Howell as Vlad. Craig Roberts though will not be returning as Robin.

The BBC have now confirmed it officially:

By popular demand Young Dracula is swooping back to Cbbc. We pick up the story four years on and Vlad and the Count have fled from Stokely. Pursued by slayers and radical vampires alike, The Count and Vlad keep a low profile and "hide in plain sight" by buying a school. The Count is determined that Vlad fulfils his destiny to lead the vampire race, but this is threatened by The Count's own tendency to create mayhem and disaster on a daily basis and by the re-emergence of the anarchic Ingrid, who brings a trail of destruction in her wake.

Popular Cbbc kids drama Young Dracula which ran for two series between 2006 and 2008 is returning for a 3rd series.

The original series starred Welsh actors Gerran Howell as Vladimir Dracula, and Craig Roberts (the newly acclaimed star of new feature film Submarine) as his friend Robin. Gerran recently appeared on Cbbc as Ernesto in The Sparticle Mystery.

 21 year old Clare Thomas (represented by McLean-Williams) who played Ingrid will also be returning.

The third series is due to begin shooting this May.
