Dead Mine is an upcoming film from director Steven Sheil (Mum and Dad) that features treasure hunters in the Indonesian jungle. They are searching for Yamashita's Gold and Yamashita is an actual figure from history. He was a Japanese Naval officer and later Commander-in-Chief of the entire Japanese Navy. So, it is not hard to fathom that Yamashita had wealth of some sorts. Will the looters find his buried wealth?

That is an answer that film fans will have to wait for and another question involves the film's genre. Is this a horror film or thriller? Likely, Dead Mine is a combination of both genres. With Sheil already comfortable with horror in his picture Mum and Dad, then it is likely that this feature will also house some elements of horror. As well, the title gives some clues to its genre. Hopefully, Dead Mine is both horrifying and thrilling as a horror movie should be.

The 21st season of Survivor started last night with the premiere, "Young At Heart" which had a new twist and a surprise celebrity castaway.  We reviewed the episode last night and now our Round Table writers are eager to break down the ramifications in the opening edition of TV Fanatic's Survivor Round Table?

Medallion of Power - Love it or Loathe it?

Kakdaddy: The jury is still out for me, but I see huge potential.  It could turn out to be a forgettable gimmick, but I think this will be a cool new twist.  I say good job by the producers to mix it up a little.

There were two big components to last night’s premiere of the 21st season of Survivor, Survivor: Nicaragua. First, the introduction of a new wrinkle to the game, the Medallion of Power. Second, the inclusion of legendary football coach Jimmy Johnson. Which one proves to play the biggest role in shaping this season of Survivor will play out over the next few weeks. However, if you needed any clue which one CBS felt was the biggest hook, simply look at the title of last night’s episode, “Young At Heart."

The title pays homage to former University of Miami and Dallas Cowboys football coach Jimmy Johnson’s comment upon learning he was being placed on the older tribe, Espada. “I’m young at heart,” Johnson cried, but subsequently admitted in an interview; “I was looking forward to the young people carrying me.”

"Survivor: Nicaragua" features only people over 40 or people under 30, split into older and younger tribes. Wendy Jo DeSmidt-Kohloff, the farmer from Montana, was the first casualty. Were you surprised?

After being made to hike through the jungle, the 20 contestants are told about a Medallion of Power, which gives the person who snags it a big power for their tribe (but they don't know what yet). The 20 contestants take off running into the jungle.

A pretty, young Asian woman finds it first. I'm sorry, I don't know her name yet and those are very distinguishing characteristics. Her name is Brenda, turns out. When they get back to camp, they are divided by age and the under-30 tribe immediately loves it and seems a little haughty. Uh, did they not see "Survivor: Thailand"?
