She won the best supporting actress award in the year 2000 for her role in 'Biwi No. 1' which was the biggest hit of 1999.

Was originally considered for the female lead role of Roma in the 2006 remake of the 1978 action classic DON, the same role in the original being essayed by Zeenat Aman who like Sen was a beauty pageant winner herself, having been crowned Miss Asia Pacific before entering Bollywood. The role eventually went to former Miss World Priyanka Chopra.
