Jean Schertler(1923-2013)

Born October 14, 1923 in Fergus Falls, Minnesota, to Dr. Walter S. Broker and Marie Barrett Broker, Jean was a graduate of the University of Minnesota. After their marriage, Jean and her husband lived in Germany where her first child was born, and settled in Washington DC where she raised their family. An actress as well as a homemaker, Jean appeared on both stage and screen. In the winter of her career, she held featured roles in the movies Se scappi, ti sposo (1999) and Pecker (1998).
