Anna didn't get her ears pierced until early in 2005, when she had them pierced specially for her wedding. When she heard that Anna had finally pierced her ears, fellow Changing Rooms (1996) designer Linda Barker gave her a pair of large silver hoop earrings - This style is now Anna's favorite, has become something of a trademark, and she's rarely seen without them.

Anna Caroline Ryder Richardson (born 29 January 1964) is a British interior designer and television presenter. She is known for being a designer on the BBC shows Changing Rooms and the subject of Chaos at the Zoo, which documents her ownership of Manor House Wildlife Park in Pembrokeshire. She also appeared on CBBC show "Hider in the House" alongside Cameron Biswas.

Anna was adopted by Colin and Gill Ryder Richardson.

Anna had stints as a model and a fitness instructor, but she became famous as a TV interior designer, most notably on Changing Rooms, appearing with Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen, Carol Smillie and Linda Barker. Anna's other TV credits include Whose House, All The Right Moves, House Invaders, Girls On Top, and Night Fever.

She ran a children's interior design shop called Squidgy Things and then set up her own interior design business.

Anna was born in London in 1964. Her father was a Malaysian student, and her mother was English. At six weeks of age, she was adopted by Colin and Gill Ryder Richardson, and raised in Surrey with her adopted sister Sarah.

Her adoptive father, Colin Ryder Richardson, was born on 19 July 1929 and died on 9 November 2012.
