Trained at the Webber-Douglas Acting School, although she began as a teenager. Has also worked with the Royal Shakespeare Company and is an occasional cast member of radio soap 'The Archers' as the mixed-race daughter of Alan Franks, the local vicar.

Her first audition was for the part of Queen Amidala in Star Wars: Episodio I - La minaccia fantasma (1999), which eventually went to Natalie Portman. She would later be cast as the character Wrobie Tyce in Star Wars - L'ascesa di Skywalker (2019).

She was born to a Jamaican father and a British mother.
