A Deven Verma discovery. She was to debut in Deven Verma's "Naam Bade"(which got shelved) then Be Sharam (1978). She was a to star opposite Amitabh in both films. She was later replaced for unknown reasons. Deven had even given her the screen name "Jyotika Rao" at one point.
