[1 January 2015] If someone asks me on New Year's Eve: 'So, what is your resolution?', then maybe I'll glance at the sky briefly and mention whichever thought comes to mind first. Two days later, I'll struggle with the resolution anyway and I will realize that keeping it is completely utopian.

[Would you describe yourself as a strict father?] No, I am definitely not strict. I am certainly someone who has certain values and principles that I demand again and again. [2015] The right time simply has not arisen yet. The wedding is supposed to be a relaxed and great reception for everyone, without it becoming too exhausting and stressful. And the time when it can be just that has not arisen yet. But of course, time is not pressing. I believe having a family and raising three children together makes you feel more connected to each other than any marriage certificate can. The wedding is merely postponed, not canceled.

[Are you an anxious father?] Only reasonably so, I hope. When I myself was a child, I was already allowed to and supposed to do more things than some children seem to be allowed to do today. I am also a generally cautious person, but I try not to hinder my children's developing independence. They have to try out things in order to mature.

The end of Dark (2017) surprised me when I read it, it touched me tremendously, it really moved me a lot. I remember I had to cry when I read the end.

Back then, I chose acting. I found it too laborious to become a professional footballer, and I will also admit this openly, because with it comes the eschewal of so many things, and also, who knows whether my body would have endured it anyway. Because professional football is very demanding physically.

In the first play I acted in, I didn't have to say a single sentence, I merely had to stand up, belch loudly, then sit down again. That was all, I managed to do that.
