Exclusive: Jerrika Hinton (Hunters) and Elvis Nolasco (Godfather of Harlem) have wrapped lead roles in Mr. Crocket, a horror film produced for Hulu Originals by WorthenBrooks (formerly 20th Digital Studio), which will premiere exclusively on Hulu later this year.

Directed by up-and-comer Brandon Espy, from his script written with Carl Reid, Mr. Crocket is based on the 2022 short of the same name, written and directed by Espy for Hulu’s Bite Size Halloween. The story is about a mother who goes on a dangerous journey to get her son back when a demonic children’s show host begins kidnapping children.

Others in the cast include Ayden Gavin (Big George Foreman), Kristolyn Lloyd (Blue Bloods), and Alex Akpobome (Industry).

Part of WorthenBrooks’ first-look horror slate with Hulu Originals, the film was developed by WorthenBrooks, with David Brooks, Arbi Pedrossian, Jenna Cavelle, Carl Reid, Josh Feldman, Sean O’Grady, and Jesse Ford serving as producers.

Daisy May Cooper is under consideration to take over from Dame Judi Dench as M in the next iteration of the James Bond franchise, per multiple reports.

According to The Sun, Cooper’s potential casting came about after Phoebe Waller-Bridge’s work on No Time to Die paved the way for more comedy in the franchise.

Netflix will put human faces to the immigration debate with a documentary series called Living Undocumented.

The series, which premieres Oct. 2 and counts Selena Gomez among its executive producers, follows eight families who agreed to let film crews chronicle their lives as they faced potential deportation. Their stories range from harrowing to hopeful and illuminate and humanize the complex U.S. immigration system, while the families endure in their quest to pursue the American dream.

Stana Katic, the leading lady from ABC's "Castle", has scored the leading role in Mark and Michael Polish’s next project "For Lovers Only" reports Variety.

Katic plays a journalist who runs into a lover (Mark Polish) from her past and they re-ignite their passion. Their love soon sends them travelling throughout France as they experience bliss, joy, confusion and guilt.

Michael Polish ("The Astronaut Farmer") will direct the project inspired by Claude Lalouch's "A Man and a Woman" and other French New Wave cinema. The Polish Brothers will also produce along with Sean O'Grady.

Stana Katic (ABC's "Castle") is set to start in "For Lovers Only" which is a Polish Brothers' romance. She'll play a journalist on assignment who bumps into a lover from the past. Katic starss opposite Mark Polish. Michael Polish directs from the screenplay by Mark Polish. The brothers produce alongside Sean O'Grady. Inspired by Claude Lalouch's "A Man and a Woman," the story tells of a couple fleeing Paris and traveling by train, car and motorcycle as their love affair takes them from France, Normany to St. Tropez. Both go through long periods of carefree bliss as well as brief moments of guilt and confusion. Apparently, the finale is left open to interpretation.
