Krist first discovered about punk rock and started listening to bands, such as Sex Pistols, Ramones and a few local punk rock bands in 1980, while he was in Yugoslavia.

Growing up, Krist was a huge fan of bands, such as Led Zeppelin, Devo, Black Sabbath and Aerosmith.

Left the music industry as well his late band 'Eyes Adrift' to concentrate on politics [2003].

Published his first book "Of Grunge and Government" in 2004.

Krist became a FAA licensed pilot with a single engine land rating, when on April 4th 2002, he passed his flight test.

Wrote the forward for the book "Taboo Tunes: A History of Banned Bands & Censored Songs" written by JAMPAC co-founder Peter Blecha & released in 2004

Krist played guitar is the band, Sweet 75, after Nirvana disbanded.

Novoselic currently (2006) hosts a Saturday night radio program on Astoria, Oregon community radio station KMUN. His DJ name is "DJ K-No".

On November the 7th 2007 it was confirmed that Krist would write a blog for the Seattle weekly website (dicembre 2007)

Krist Anthony Novoselic was born on 16 May 1965 in Compton, California, where he lived, until he was one year old, before moving in 1966 to Los Angeles, where his sister Diana was born in 1973.
