- Played a beach boy in Una sirena sulla spiaggia (1965), and Linda Evans played "beach bunny" Sugar Cane, an up-and-coming singer. Years later they worked together on Dynasty (1981).
- His hair had thinned considerably by the time he was asked to reprise the role of Dimitri Marick on La valle dei pini (1970) in 2013, and after meeting his co-star Thorsten Kaye (Zach Slater) and seeing Kaye's thick head of hair, Nader decided to shave his head almost completely bald. "I am not competing with that head of hair!" Nader said in an interview.

- Son of Minnette (Glogovac) and John Weldon Nader. His maternal grandparents were Serbian. His paternal grandparents, Alice Scott and George Garfield Nader, were of English, Irish, German, and Scottish origin. His patrilineal Nader line originated in Germany.
