In December 1966, Medley was appointed Deputy Mayor of Universal City. The Mayor was Jill St. John.

In 1963, she was chosen to be Miss Peter Pan and toured the country to promote the brand of peanut butter.

Discovered in a parking lot at Universal Studios. She was getting ready to get into her car to leave when John Cassavetes spotted her. After a few pleasantries, he agreed to cast her in an episode of Polvere di stelle (1963).
