Kathryn McGuire(1903-1978)

Doe-eyed silent screen actress and dancer. She was discovered by Thomas H. Ince for films, but ended up making her mark as a comedienne with Mack Sennett. She is best remembered as Buster Keaton's leading lady in La palla n° 13 (1924) and Il navigatore (1924). She also partnered Ben Turpin, Lupino Lane and cowboy actors Hoot Gibson and Tom Mix in films. She retired from acting in 1933.
