- Active from the 1950s as a voice-over actress, dubbing for Sophia Loren, Shelley Winters, Esther Williams, Hermione Baddeley, Barbara Bel Geddes ("Dallas"), Lois Maxwell ("Miss Moneypenny"), and as the first German voice of Wilma in Gli antenati (1960).
- Landgut was a well-known child star and called the "German Shirley Temple". Her career started when Henny Porten spotted the young child playing in a sandpit. She acted with Porten in the silent movies Violantha (1927) and Mutterliebe (1929).
- Her last two roles were in Schneeweißchen und Rosenrot (1984) and Medici di notte (1978).
- After the huge success of M - Il mostro di Düsseldorf (1931), she enhanced her popularity in the film La terribile armata (1931), with which role she became the darling of the nation as "Pony Hütchen".
