A major WWE wrestling fan. In the movie " I - Proud To Be a Indian", Sohail named the villain Kane , after WWE star Kane. In the film Do Knot Disturb, Sohail's character is named Diesel after WWE star Kevin Nash. In the film Freaky Ali, clips of wrestling are shown on the TV .

Wife Seema is Chunky Pandey's cousin Kiran Sajdeh's daughter.

Brother of Arbaaz Khan and Salman Khan. Son of Salim Khan.

He and wife, Seema, a clothing designer, have one son, Nirvaan, and a second son, Aslam, born on June 18, 2011.

First film as a director was suppose to be " Ram" starring Salman Khan,Pooja Bhatt, Arbaaz Khan (Replaced Abhishek Kapoor), Sonali Bendre, Nasir Khan.. The film was started in 1994 and was produced by Mansoor Siddique. After a argument between Sohail and Mansoor erupted, the film was shelved. The film was 40% complete. Mansoor Siddique then sold the title song of the film " Tujhe Manga Tha Tujhe Paya Hain" to producer Firoz Nadiadwala. Firoz used it for his film " Ram Shastra".
