He recorded a cover on Swedish 1980s pop group Style's (aka Freestyle) hit song "Dover-Calais". Ernst-Hugo sort of half sing-recites the song to the music in a very special way. A well-known cult version of the song in Sweden (released on LP/CD "Eldorado - Äventyret fortsätter"; Various artists; ELDORADO / SONET SLP-2788; Track 10: "Ernst-Hugo Järegård - Dover-Calais"; 1987).
