Craig Huxley

Former child actor, famed for patenting his own version and making extensive use of the "BLASTER BEAM", a unique musical instrument consisting of an 18-foot metal beam strung with 2 dozen strings and massive pickups. Played by striking the wires with metallic objects, mallets, and even artillery shell casings. It was first heard in Star Trek (1979) as the distinctive metallic bass notes associated with "V'ger". It went on to become a staple of science fiction film scores in the 1980s through 2020 (such as 2010 - L'anno del contatto (1984) and Alien³ (1992)). Father of singer/actress/Co-Producer Fiona Huxley.
