- In a society ruled by fear and conflict, two rivals from warring tribes must join forces, testing whether trust can overcome the weight of history.
- "In a society ruled by fear and conflict, two rivals from warring tribes must join forces, testing whether trust can overcome the weight of history." Roots tells the moving story of Chuma, a struggling music producer from the Xhosa tribe, whose life is falling apart as he faces eviction and career stagnation. One afternoon, while searching for inspiration and hope, he comes across Bheki, a gifted street performer from the Zulu tribe, whose soulful voice draws a small but captivated crowd. Recognizing his potential, Chuma approaches him with an offer to collaborate for an upcoming music competition - a chance to change both their lives. However, their shared history of tribal tension stands in the way. Bheki, burdened by old prejudices and pride, rejects the offer harshly. Only later, after a painful argument with his wife - who reminds him of their struggles and their unborn child - does he reconsider. Driven by desperation and hope, Bheki reaches out to Chuma, setting the stage for an unlikely partnership. As they rehearse and overcome their differences through music, a genuine bond begins to form. Although they don't win the competition, their performance catches the attention of a well-known musician and judge, who offers them an opportunity that could change everything. Roots is a heartfelt exploration of unity, forgiveness, and the power of music to heal old wounds. It reminds us that sometimes, our greatest victories come not from winning - but from finding harmony beyond our differences.

- Kon-shus is a haunting psychological drama that follows Sbu, a conflicted young man torn between his modern lifestyle and his ancestral calling. Living in denial of his spiritual gift, Sbu struggles to find purpose while his personal life crumbles around him. His relationship with Lihle deteriorates as frustration, failure, and guilt consume him. Haunted by strange visions and an unsettling stranger who appears only to him, Sbu begins to lose his grip on reality. His mother, rooted in traditional beliefs, pleads with him to embrace his ancestral duty as a chosen one - a sangoma's successor - but Sbu refuses, dismissing it as superstition. The more he resists, the more his life descends into chaos, hallucination, and inner torment. His dreams blur with waking life as spiritual forces pull him toward an inevitable reckoning. Drunk, lost, and desperate, Sbu confronts his own fears and guilt until he finally submits to his destiny. In a surreal climax, he finds himself led by sangomas to a river - a sacred symbol of cleansing and rebirth - where the stranger calls out: "Come to the light." The film ends ambiguously, leaving viewers questioning whether Sbu's transformation is salvation or surrender.
