An old drug-addicted Vietnam veteran (Dennis) is woken from his nightmare by a door to door Christian evangelist (Peter) knocked on his door. While knocking Dennis's war medals fall off of the wall and come crashing to the floor. Dennis points this out to Peter who insists on fixing his mistake. Dennis begrudgingly lets Peter in his apartment and looks for a hammer for him to hang his war medals back up. Once Peter begins to hammer the nail into the wall it triggers Dennis's PTSD and he flashes back to his Army recruiter.

Pilot episode involves kidnapping at the beginning. Mother runs an organisation that "cleans up messes". Veronica and Roxie are sent to pick up a classic car from four scumbags. The girls use Roxies innocence to trick their way in. The are to leave no witnesses. Taking car from A to B with no stops is interrupted by a flat tire. However they are shocked by what they find in the trunk.

Episode 2 finds Veronica and Roxie continuing on their mission to Point B with the classic car and the contents of the trunk. Their mistake was telling Mother they opened the trunk. Point B is a seedy motel room where the girls are waiting for the contents to be picked up. Unfortunately the tables are turned on the girls. Mother has betrayed them and sent a clean up crew to take care of them. To their advantage, Veronica forgot to tell Mother they changed rooms. A blood bath quickly ensues, putting the girls on the run with the boy.

Episode 3 continues the kidnapping investigation. The mother of the victim thinks a pet tracker has been inserted in her child by the father who is in prison for embezzlement. Detectives are following the tracker hoping to find the boy. Meanwhile Mother meets with the client to discuss the problem. Now we find out why the boy is so "Special". The girls are in hiding and discover by accident the boy is a math prodigy and knows crucial information worth $$ millions to his father. Mother's guys are still hunting the girls but now know about the pet tracker. Mother tries to betray her client but fails miserably. Detective and Mother's guys are closing in. Things don't look good for our girls.

Episode 4 has FBI Agent Barnes finding Veronica, Roxie, and Tyler. He mistakenly thinks he has the upper hand until Tyler tries to protect the girls. Meanwhile the client makes his break from prison with help from the dirty prison guard. Things don't end well for the guard and the driver. While the girls discuss leaving Tyler and Agent Barnes, Julian and Kyle show up and grab the kid. The girls now need Barnes' help. Julian removes the tracker and loses Barnes and the girls. Now Mother has the unconscious boy. The girls and Barnes band together. Everyone sees the broadcast about the prison escape and know they have to protect the boy. The escapees show up at the Madden house, kill the FBI agent, kidnap the mom and join the hunt for Tyler.

Episode 5 begins with escapees locating Tyler (or so they think). It's a trap by the girls using the tracker left behind by Julian. All accomplices are killed and Madden is tied up by Agent Barnes. Mother tries to trick Tyler into giving her the info on the money but he's smarter than that. Roxie tortures Madden to get him to call Mother and deal to get Tyler back. A meeting is set. Eileen (Tyler's mom) confronts her ex and learns from Roxie about the money. Barnes and Veronica get intimate. Getting to the meeting is next on the agenda.

Season One Finale. Everyone gets to the meeting place. Julian frisks Madden and Barnes, checks out the room and clears the way for Mother. Tyler panics seeing triple numbers on the door, but it's part of the plan. Now to play the "key" song and trigger Tyler's memory. But the key doesn't work anymore. Shootout begins. Tyler is delivered to Eileen by Madden while all hell breaks loose in rooms 111 & 115. Who will survive? Who will explain the mess? What will next season bring?

While Veronica and Roxie relax on an island planning their retirements, it becomes painfully clear that Mother is till alive and is working with Eileen.

Veronica and Roxie infiltrate the drug cartel of El Mariposa. Carlos thinks his dead wife Sally is still alive, while Mother realizes a ghost from her past is out to get her.

Veronica comes to a crossroads and realizes she is not alone. Phillips finds a place to hole up while waiting on the storm to roll through. Roxie wakes up in a strange environment and realizes she is in trouble.

Veronica and Roxie are taken to the black operatives training ranch where Veronica was raised by Marcus and Isabel Walker. But now, they want Veronica to avenge their natural daughter's death, and Veronica and Roxie don't have much choice.

Veronica reluctantly needs Mother to find Roxie, but tracking down Carlos may be harder than she expected. Roxie realizes she may need to use her brain and not her brawn to survive her captivity. Eileen is tired of being trapped in the house and wants to blow off some steam.

Veronica and Barnes learn of Carlos's strange and dangerous past. Mother gets a lead on where Eileen might be. Roxie finds out she may need to fight her way out of her imprisonment as the clock continues to tick.

Veronica and Roxie track down a drug distribution site for the elusive drug lord, El Mariposa. Back in his survivalist bunker, Carlos starts to reminisce about his dead wife Sally. Mother and Eileen hole up in one of Mother's safe houses-a church.

Veronica and Roxie get a new lead on where El Mariposa can be found. Mother seeks refuge with Father Brooks, who tries to persuade her to let the girls go.

Veronica and Roxie go to a masquerade party thrown by El Mariposa. Veronica has a shocking run-in with someone from her past. While Barnes realizes Phillips may have not told him everything, Mother's past catches up with her, leaving Eileen to fend for herself.

Veronica and Roxie complete a mission only to discover something horrible is waiting for them back at the Walker house. The impending storm has everyone temporarily trapped and looking for safe shelter.

Delusional Carlos thinks Roxie is, in fact, his dead wife Sally. Veronica has to find Mother in order to find who kidnapped Roxie. Phillips reveals his intentions to Mother.
