Several people venture into a remote village to ask a mysterious faith healer to cure their ailing loved ones, unaware every miraculous "healing" would soon be repaid in kind.

Torotot explores the story of two couples, why and how their marriages crumble and how their infidelity and passion brought them tragic endings. Leo and Marie are having marital problems because the woman is spending too much time with her pet dogs. This prompts Leo, the art director of ad agency, to have a one-night stand. Marie then confronts her husband about his infidelity and plots her own revenge. Another couple experiencing marital problems featured in the movie is composed of Gabby and Rita. The husband has to deal with pre-mature ejaculation but Rita doesn't mind at all. That is until she meets the very aggressive Gaston (a married meat vendor) who awakens her appetite for lust and forbidden passion.

The actual chandelier-shaped bamboo flowers that blossom only before death inspire this anthology about the lives of different people in Bohol, who have to deal with the ever changing world around them. The erosion of traditions and beliefs forces change in their lives and pushes them towards drastic life decisions.

Description This is a true story which happened in a small town in Bohol in 2005. Twenty one pupils died and almost a hundred were hospitalized after eating cassava cakes sold by an old woman, who might have accidentally used pesticide in her ingredients. She has been selling cassava cakes in that school and has a loving relationship with the children. The film follows a town's journey from painful trauma towards healing through the inter cutting points of view of two of the child survivors, and the old woman vendor. The two child survivors, in their own beguiling yet perceptive ways, slowly learn the issued of crime, prejudice and compassion as they develop friendship and accept their loss. The old woman, who is ostracized and condemned by the entire town, even by her own family, finally makes sense of the whole tragic thing and takes matters into her own hands. Answers don't come easy, but in the end redemption arrives for every soul in this town in the form of a final climactic event.
