An abridged award-winning television adaptation of a famous play about an aging travelling salesman who's on the verge of a nervous breakdown. His job is gone, and his family hates him for never being there. He tries mending things with them.

Known for his haunting work on the holocaust, Italian chemist and author Primo Levi had his book IF THIS IS A MAN brought to the stage in September 2004. In 1944, Levi was imprisoned in Auschwitz by German authorities who discovered he was Jewish. He spent 10 months incarcerated in barbaric conditions, then wrote of his horrifying experiences in IF THIS IS A MAN. The play was a one-man production from actor Antony Sher, whose notable performances include turns in the comedic SHAKESPEARE IN LOVE and John Schlesinger's meditation on wartime romance, YANKS. This filmed version of the play sees Sher acting out some harrowing material as he brings Levi's words to life, and proves that he is an actor capable of plummeting to the depths of human despair with alarming ease.

Bad Girls The Musical is an original British musical based on characters from the award winning and hugely popular television drama Bad Girls. Set in the fictional HMP Larkhall, it's the story of new idealistic Wing Governor Helen Stewart and her battles with the entrenched old guard of Officer Jim Fenner and his sidekick Sylvia Hollamby. It also follows the love story that develops between Helen and charismatic inmate Nikki Wade. Other featured characters include Shell Dockley and her runner Denny Blood, old-timer Noreen Biggs, The Two Julies and the ultimate Top Dog, King-of-Gangland's missus, Yvonne Atkins. A tragic death on the wing - in which Jim Fenner is implicated - leads to an angry protest from the women and forces Helen and Nikki to their opposite sides of the bars. But when it's clear that Helen stands to lose her job over Fenner's misdeeds, the race is on for the women to nail him once and for all.
