Don't quite get why this movie did not get a theatre release, considering the rubbish that is released in India cinema. I can only assume the 1 star review for this movie must come from BJP boys who were hoping to see some pakistan bashing and got nothing, sorry boys is feel require a brain.

This movie shows how a father can lose their child when they apply their hope and aspirations on him and not realise that he is his own person.

The character Vijay is a army top dog, his son cannot live up to his level, he shows his dissapointment, so instead for giving his son confidence he shatters it.

The boys grows up with hate for his father, the villain mentors and makes him strong. This shows the failure of the father.

The movie for me was emotional, father and son head to head all because of the fathers arrogance.

Acting wise all played their part well, as for Ibrahim, this should have been his debut, he shows potential playing a complex role that other mature actors would not dare.

Watch the movie, ignore the BJP reviewers.

Firstly can I say that use the name of Jaat is shameful marketing to try and attract the Sikh community, Sunny as a politician did nothing for the Jaat farmers during their stand against the government, so to use the Jaat name to promote the movie is shameful. This movie could be called anything as it had nothing to do with Jaat.

The presence of Sunny was nice, he was presented very well, but it is so clear that he is no old, in every action scene he just stood there. The idli story and sorry bol was hilarious. Randeep was excellent.

The movie didn't have a story, it was a vehicle for creating havoc, the movie is very violent, cutting off heads, cutting throats, the movie is littered in it. The BGM was deafening., not to my taste.

The movie overall is a good time, I enjoyed it very much, a good one time watch.

Chaava, is about two formidable perfoances, Akshay Khanna as Aurangzeb, and Vicky Kaushal as Sam bhaji Maharaj.

To be clear the movie is a work of fiction, people should not forget this, all being based on a set of true events.

Vicky is formidable, he lives his character, this movie takes Vicky to probably one the best actors currently in Bollywood. He delivers his role with pure passion and vigor. Akshay Khanna as Aurangzeb is phenomenal , it takes guts to play a role where you know thetb country is going to hate, especially a pro Hindu fascist government.

The movie is of a good length, very good battle scenes, and towards the end the movie it takes a slice from passion of the christ, showing extreme violence and torture of the hero, the movie concludes before his beheading as showing this will not go well with the target viewers.

All in all, a very good movie.
