These days sadly in tollywood you can become a Director without knowing anything about the details of film direction. All you need is to convince the producer by satisfying his/her wishlist even if it causes damage to the overall quality of the movie. The director is just a middle man who gathers well connected actors and other technicians and add the right masala mix to spice it up. I doubt the director (sil) have any knowledge at all about Byomkesh persona and studied well the original story in detail. The music director seems to be a novice too. Editing is equally horrible. Tollywood lost its originality decades ago and now it is a den of sweet talking novices.
