Never thought Christopher Walken could be better in this role. But Hall is so great in this role, you can't help but think that he's a much much underrated actor. I've watched eleven episodes of the first season so far, and every episode is at least good to great. Especially episode nine The Siege is really one of the greatest TV episodes of any great TV drama l have seen. It's not as exciting as the title suggests but you will be moved by the humanity of it. And also all the cast are excellent, not just the main casts, but all the guest actors too. I'm so glad to discover this amazing show, and grateful still have five more seasons to go. Let's hope the rest are as great as the first season.

Definitely inspired by Slow Horses and almost as good. While no actors here are as charismatic as Gary Oldman, Alexej Manvelov is outstanding, he steals every scene that he's in. Didn't like the main character at first, he is rude and arrogant. But by episode 3 you will warm to the character. However physically he doesn't look like a tough guy, and the scene that he beat up a guy threatens his step-son and twice his size was a bit too over the top .Excellent acting all round and storyline is quite interesting and gripping . I binge watch the whole series in 3 days. There must be more seasons to come, can't wait!

If this is an English language show, everyone will rave about it. But as we know a lot of people doesn't like reading subtitles, and if that's the reason you are not bothered to watch the show, then you really are missing one of the very best shows of any language! The acting of every cast is phenomenal, you will be angry and frustrated with the local police who never really cared for the victims, one victim is even described as lucky by the police, cos she only got raped and not killed! The Bridge and The Killing was very good foreign language show, but this show is on another level, especially it's base on true story. It's a must watch show for any fans of TV show out there. It's on BBCiplayer, it's so good it's almost justified the TV license, almost! Even it wasn't made by the BBC, I'm forever grateful they're showing it. Don't miss it!
