Body does something to you-it questions, unsettles and negotiates. It probes you and takes you to corners you know exist inside you, corners that behold desires of the forms identity can take but it does so with a remarkable degree of sensitivity. It doesn't intend to shock you or shake you or violate you but instead it makes you settle in its world and the rhythm of it seamlessly. The visual language, performances and the spaces it takes you aren't yours but they're familiar and sometimes intimate. In a world obsessed with "performance"-in life and otherwise, Body takes you to who you are beyond the "performed" version of you-your naked. It asks without disturbing you-what happens when someone claims the space for their "naked" in a world that refuses to see it? What happens when it begins to walk the streets it was supposed to escape?
