So this one interesting. In the beginning it just seemed like a PG version of F13. Kinda boring when you're used to the gorier stuff. Councilors are stereotypical, the jock and his girl, the stoner, the bossy chick and the friend of campers, and of course the older guy who's the camp director. But it was cute with the bullied nerd, making friends with the other loners at camp, even seems to be a little girl that maybe likes him so I kept watching.

I was not expecting what I got at all! Not going to give anything away but about halfway through it starts turning into something else and that twist is pretty good, kind of a horror of it's own when you realize it. So while it's not an out and out horror slasher I think it's still a horror movie of some type.

Depending on what you have to choose from it might be a good choice to waste 90 minutes.

If you're looking for an all out slasher this is not the movie you want. If you're looking for something to fill the time and maybe give you a couple giggles go for it. I wasn't sure how I felt about a romcom/slasher mashup but figured I'd give it a try. I love horror, appreciate comedy and hate most romcoms.

This was fun though, silly and at times downright dumb, but it worked. Sure there were a few things that made me shake my head or ask why but thats every movie. Overall it was fun, kept my interest and provided some giggles.

At the end of the day I can say I'm glad I watched it so thats what matters.

This should have been good........... but it wasn't. I mean come on, section 31, all the cool secrets of the universe, time travel, AI, etc. So much they could have done with it...... but they didn't. Instead we got a generic action flick, it was like they were trying to give us a star wars type movie, big problem, a bunch of crazy misfits, fight scenes, and then they save the universe, oh yeah with some sarcastic one liners thrown in for fun. I gave it two stars because if you watch it like that and not thinking it's Star Trek it's a fun little action movie to waste 90 minutes to. Bit if you're looking for Trek, this ain't it.

I had really wanted to see this become a series but now I hope they don't.
