The prequel that I DEFINITELY was not looking for, or wanting, is in a league entirely to itself.

Regardless of platform: television, movie, streaming, this IS the show you're looking for!

The pacing of this episode was amazing! I greatly enjoy the three episode to a chapter story telling Gilroy did with season one and has continued with here.

Set design, casting, costuming, location script, execution. Seriously, Tony G (and everyone, yes it's a huge team and it shows) , credit first to script as it all starts with story, has out done himself again.

Disney is lucky to have this.

Hopefully everyone can come to see and appreciate this show.

No surprise to anyone that has seen him before, Jason Sudakis is a great actor, truly. His reactions to those around him are enchanting, literally mesmerizing. The choosing seen (as well as others) has him watching something. It is amazing. His acting/reaction makes the director look like Steven Spielberg here. He makes all of those around him better. He teriyaki makes his characters four dimensional and utterly believable. The story and the supporting cast are no light weights here (I will always appreciate Bruce Greenwood for a five minute scene!). Heck, I don't even mind that a 2000 mile road trip doesn't leave Ontario, CA.

Executed with precision. Writing, acting, direction, cinematography, editing -all of done perfectly to tell the story of troubled honest people dealing with life. Toni Colette is visceral with her emotions. The blending of storylines for all of the characters is simultaneously true-to-life and amazing well organized. To think that all of the characters complete their own full story arc in six episodes is amazing, many other shows struggle and fail to accomplish this with double the screen time! I'm glad this is readily available to stream in North America. I am a little late to the party, but awfully glad it's still here.
