For years I had heard what a horribly irredeemable flop this movie was. A blemish on Eddie Murphys career. You know. You've heard the digs. So I eventually decided to check it out.

Now going in with absolutely no expectations may have helped, but this wasn't the worst movie I've ever seen and certainly not deserving of all the negative reviews it's gotten. Is it a great movie? No. Not by a long shot. But it's watchable. Which is more than I can say about some of his other movies for sure.

Rosario Dawson was just fine in this, and as attractive as ever. Randy Quaid...well he got screwed here. His character was awful. They definitely could've done something there.
