Just watched on Netflix and wondered why we hadn't seen first time round. Then remembered we were living abroad at the time. The storylines and acting were first class. It felt like living in the 50's and seeing through a haze of cigarette smoke. Great drama series. Will be seeing A View from the Bridge with Dominic West shortly. He was great in the Crown and his career has seemed to fall short of his capabilities. Ben Whishaw and Romola Garai were absolutely superb individually and together. I don't write reviews on IMDB often. You can see why - they are not very good. But when a series as good as this hits the screen I had to comment. Having binged the 2 series my wife and I feel bereft and will have to find another series as good very quickly.

Superb series. Story, acting and cinematography faultless. Can't remember a more poignant depiction of settlers in the Old West than this. Have to say there was a lot of pollen in the air watching the last episode. Brilliant 👍

What a superb series. Great characters, stories and snowy locations. Also able to save on actors clothing as main character managed to wear his suit and coat through both series - every episode😁👍

Hope that a third series is coming soon.
