In my almost 60 years of age, I've never seen a male character in a movie or tv series so pathetic, so unmanly, so annoying, that I wished he was already dead by the second episode. He spends all 8 episodes crying like a little girl, because god only knows, he's the most tormented man alive. His mommy issues make his life so miserable, even when he has a beautiful woman who loves him, and whose life has been much worse than his but you don't see her complaining or crying all over the place. Yes, the ending has an interesting twist, but it takes too long to get there. Half way through the series you already wish for someone to put the protagonist out of his misery. He's just a poor excuse of a man, so weak and useless that is almost impossible to feel empathy for him. The series could have been great if it was told in half the episodes with a stronger lead character.
Whoever says this show is any good, must have a personal interest in it. There is nothing, and let me be crystal clear, N-O-T-H-I-N-G believable than can be rescued out of this series. Shame on Netflix for trying to sell this POS as a drama series, when it's nothing more than a Mexican Telenovela with underperforming actors, characters out of a comic book, that quickly becomes a comedy. Think of a cliche? This series has it. It's so predictable that even if you only had one functional brain cell you could predict what will happen after the first episode.
The writer (Padron) has done nothing else in his career other than writing mediocre telenovelas, why would you expect any different? Don't waste your time and most importantly don't waste your money. You can watch garbage like this every day for free on Televisa, Telemundo or Univisión. No subscription necessary.

Where to start? The movie is so bad. The budget must have been a few hundred dollars. You can tell because the lawyer of the big mafia boss, who supposedly is worth billions drives a Kia Soul! Fighting scenes were probably choreographed by elementary school kids. The story is ridiculous, doesn't make sense. Who writes garbage like this? The acting is so bad that the cast must have been taken from a pool of rejected actors who wouldn't be hired by anyone. Eric Roberts probably worked for free just to add another credit to his record of being the most prolific actor of all time. That record should have an asterisk (*) because doing garbage like this, which he has done plenty, should not count. All in all, there is not a single thing you can rescue from this awful waste of time of a movie.
