I have put up with Sonny's "I hate water" "I hate boats" quirks for too long but this is the straw that broke the camels back. For those who do not understand SEAL stands for SEA, AIR and LAND which is everywhere they operate. BUDS, which is Basic Underwater Demolition School, takes place mostly in the WATER! The riggors they put you through in BUDS is not designed to make you tough or improve you, you have to be pretty fit just to get into BUDS. No its designed to weed out the people who don't want to be there or will have a problem working in the fields they need you to work in. They expose you to drowning, freezing water, survival floating, swimming underwater etc. If you don't get over your issues with water you will never make it.
That said I was ok with Sonny's quirky behavior. I love the beach but hate getting sand in my pants, but it won't stop me from going. In this episode no only does Sonny not want to use the water as a means to escape but doesn't even know the benefits of doing so, which are laid out IN BUDS. This is what happens when you stop listening to your SEAL advisors and kill them off in the show.

People probably noticed I don't usually post possitive reviews. If I loved an episode (and I have liked most of them) there really is nothing to talk about except to just tell you what you already saw and why it was so good.
When an epiosde like this, however, which is going so good but just disapoints me, I have to say something. The whole subplot with Lt. Davis aggrivated me. I know they are trying to address sexual harassment in the military but they used such a subtle example it was pointless and annoying. FAR worse thing happen in the Military than what happened to Davis and Mina. What Lt Commander Whiteshaw did was a simple case of unwanted attention.
Having personal experience with cases of sexual harassment in the workplace I know many companies take it more serious than others, and I have seen people reprimanded and fired for it, but it must go FAR beyond what the Lt Commander was doing or they open themselves up to lawsuits. The military has many cases far worse than this to worry about and would never ruin the career of an officer over something as petty as this. I am sorry if you don't think its petty but it is.
Not to mention Lisa Davis has NO leg to stand on. She is breaking more rules in a worse way by fraternizing with an enlisted. Her whole 'holier than thou' attitude really made me start to dislike her and I really liked her at the beginning but more and more is she falling from grace.
You want to adress sexual harassment, there are so many better ways to do it.
