If you think you're walking into a mind melting- unknown cthulu verse...its not that deep.

Ok story line. Art work is great but emotions dont transfer to the faces, so alot of scenese are very monotone. Which works for the main character because 'HP lovecraft' but not every character.

Ok to have on in background but not very engaging. Think kids would enjoy it enough but doesnt follow the traditional kid type movie.

Not too disappointed to watch but it kinda feels like a cross between Frozen and...a big friendly teddy bear. Not sure what else to use to describe it. I had in on in the background and a few scenes had me looking up, but not very engaging.

I heard good reviews, and they were right. Loved the song segments and humour. Beatlejuice was perfect. You can see he's aged a bit, but its like he just kept on living in their own undead world. Story was good. Acting was great. Loved they brought some of the old actors back.

Enjoyed the characters, each one feeling fleshed out -which is a plus- and they had their own wants, worries, lives and lifestyles. It was great to see the relationship between Lydia and the step mom given some light. Plus the family drama. A new age artist vs goth girl and goth grandchild.

A great watch and safe enough for friends and family to watch together.

After watching every matrix film before this, to say this one did not match up would be an accurate description. Their is action, several throw backs and even outright copies of scenes from the 1st film, which was great...until it kept happening. The fight scenes were very slow, but understandable as the actors are ageing so. Fair. Neo's scenes were very lacking. I liked the ending, but I just felt the fight scenes were unnecessarily broken up with dialog and/or explanations that didn't need to be said. The power's neo displayed were minimal and none of the plot answered any questions left from the last films.

Very disappointed overall but It was an ok film to watch. Just didnt match up to the other films and thats ok I guess, each film can have their own direction. Just...a bit too far disconnected.
