I hate to make some heavy digs at my own country (I'm an American) but MAN - the US version is so trashy compared to the UK one. What are the creators doing? Are they just bringing on the worst people to dig up ratings??? What makes the show appealing in the first place is the real chance to see two people fall in love with this experiment. I've only seen Season 1 of Love is Blind US - I plan to watch the rest - but I heard Season 1 was the best and that's alarming! Because even though I enjoyed it, it did not hold a candle to the UK season. They actually had real serious candidates for the UK version. Most of the contestants were over 30 so that definitely helped. But I really enjoyed how genuine everyone was. The saddest part for me was seeing one of my favorite couples not work out after saying "I DO" because they were truly perfect for each other and you could see it jump off the screen. I did find it funny that some contestants were so upset with each other on certain things - but I did think they were being a little extra - because compared to the US version - these people were so sweet and kind to each other. I will watch every version of the UK Love is Blind as long as they keep bringing on serious, older contestants. It was truly a delight.

USA CREATORS! Take note!! We want serious, older contestants!! Stop bringing on people who just want the clout!

I'm so excited to say that we have ANOTHER WINNER!!! We are two for two!!! I am concerned... because I just learned that this was originally a Steven Moffat episode meant for Amy and Matt Smith. So this means my two favorite episodes of the season so far are basically Moffat episodes. I've always been an RTD fan through and through. To the core. Just slightly more than Moffat. But ... the leading best episodes have not been from RTD... I'm really hoping he didn't lose his flair. I guess we will have the next few episodes to truly see!! I really enjoyed how thought provoking this was. This was a subtle not so subtle jab at the direction we are headed in. If we are not already there... great acting by all!
