We are big fans of Corinne Masiero and Capitaine Marleau. We have watched every episode and enjoyed them thoroughly I had saved all of her episodes and this was the last one we watched. We had no idea until I looked it up that this was actually the pilot episode. Corinna didn't even get top billing. The movie itself turned out to be boring and disjointed, with Marleau showing little of her eccentric charm. Muriel Robin, who we are currently watching in Master Crimes, was under utilized. By the time it reached a climax we didn't really care.
If we had watched this episode with Capitaine Marleau first instead of last I probably would have passed on watching any further mysteries with her in it. Thank goodness for small favors.

Here's the perfect recipe for box office disaster: take one of the most beloved animated cartoons of all time, turn it into a live action movie nobody asked for or wanted, change all of the characters around so they don't even come close to the characters in the original, and finally, as a bonus, put down half of your potential movie customers as you trash the concept of the original film. Mix it all together, throw in a huge, overblown budget and you have a potential sweep of the 2025 Razzie Awards, especially since they have removed the "Worst Original Song" and "Worst Musical Score" categories. Well done, Disney!!
I am on my second episode and it is looking more and more like it will be my last episode. I have watched many "from above" types of shows like Europe From Above and they have been chock full of spectacular drone footage of scenery, monuments, cities, historical sites, etc cetera, and it has been wonderful to watch. This is the exact opposite of those types of programs. They instead take a few lame overhead shots then fill it with overly tedious drownings from so-called experts, whose main area of expertise seems to be wasting time. The result is a few 5 minute segments stretched out to make a 45 minute waste of time. Give this a pass.
