I thought this would be a 1/10 movie, and it is not that bad. More a 3/10.
I also thought this would be corny, cringe, and filled with bad inappropriate humour, and I was correct.
The good is that David Corenswet is excellent as Superman, perhaps the best superman of all time. Mr. Terrific and Guy Gardner are both excellent characters. The CGi is, mostly, great and for DC that is a huge improvement. I also felt the sound design and music score was on point. The core of the movie, the core characters and actors, the basic concept, was very good and if they've stuck the directing, writing and events this might have been a good movie.
Sadly this is written like 10 episode TV show smashed together into one long movie directed by James Gunn... Let that sink in for a moment and consider the implications - and then you know why I am not a fan of this movie.
This has too many characters, too much going on, and it has an enormous amount of corny James Gunn-esque humour which seldom land. The ending scene is particular concerning because if this is where James is taking things, the DCU is doomed.
If you enjoy the very serialised almost cartoonish mixture of multiple TV episodes and you like the inappropriate James Gunn humour then you are likely to love this movie. But for the rest of us who enjoy good writing, good directing, good storytelling and great cinematography, well for us this is not a very good movie. If we compare it to previous DC movies I would say this ranks just below blue beetle, and just ahead of WW 1984. In essence a 3/10 movie.
I will say that this has promise, and this could have been great. Could not say that about the Snyder-verse movies.

The comic this show is based on is one of, if not the best comic ever written. This show however is one of the worst ever made.
Everything from casting to storytelling is atrocious. Except for Tom as the titular character every single actor (if "acting" can be said about these folk.) seem to have stumbled in from a KFC parking lot.
They do stick decently to the comic looking at the overarching story and even take many sentences directly from the pages. But the directing, acting and minor changes made are so bad that one almost need to invent new words. To me, this is the worst comic adaptation of all time.
I strongly suggest everyone go read the comic. This TV show should be forgotten as one of entertainment history's worst nightmares.
A very generous 2/10 since many moments and great dialogue is taken from said comic.

Is this a good movie? Absolutely not. In fact this is hilariously dumb and stupid. Is it a entertaining and fun watch? Oh yea!
This is a mixture of "The Last Supper" (1995), and "Ready or Not" (2019). Mixed with a few other things. Although I believe both those mentioned movies are superior to this one, The Hunt is however funnier.
Mostly this is wellmade, well shot, well acted, and follow a decent narrative path. However there are a few weird things which I would probably blame the low budget on, and I was a bit disappointed with the very end of the movie. The big problem is however the middle part which drags a bit.
I was laughing almost constantly, at least up to the last 15min or so. This is a comedy more than anything else. Despite me highly recommending this movie, I cannot give it more than a 6/10, in fact that is probably too high. But this is dumb stupid entertainment and you can most definitely do a lot worse.
