"Khel Khel Me" is a refreshing comedy, offering a mix of humor and light-hearted entertainment. While the subject isn't entirely unique, it brings comic relief after a long gap in similar films. Akshay Kumar stands out with his performance, alongside Taapsee Pannu, who brings her usual charm. It's also great to see Fardeen Khan back on screen after a long hiatus. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the jokes, and for the most part, the film maintained its pace, with only a slight dip towards the end. The movie serves as a reminder that marriage is more than just the union of two people or families-it's built on trust, acceptance of each other's imperfections, and, of course, friendship, with a touch of intimacy!
The docudrama offers little insight beyond what is already known, except for the portrayal of Indrani Mukherjea, a central figure in the Sheena Bora case, depicted as a bewildering and conflicted character. Indrani appears to fabricate multiple narratives, displaying no signs of remorse or grief over her daughter's disappearance or demise. She presents herself with immaculate makeup, casting herself as a victim, yet fails to provide substantial evidence to support her claims, such as her alleged overseas whereabouts or any communication indicating her daughter's continued existence. Neither her children nor her spouses speak positively of her, yet she maintains her innocence, seemingly living in a self-constructed reality focused solely on extravagant living at the expense of others, including her own family. The series' decision to grant her a platform seems unjustified, as she lacks any credibility or merit, given her actions.
One of the least impressive OTT series I've encountered in recent years. Despite expecting a decent action show with a mediocre story for Rohit Shetty's OTT debut, it fell short. The entire cast's acting feels reminiscent of a high school play, and the dialogues, scripting, and storyline are so dull that enthusiasm dwindles within the first five minutes. Watching just the first and last episodes leaves you feeling like you've missed nothing. Best to steer clear!! Not sure if the direction and production was helmed by some extremely mediocre person under Rohit Shetty Banner or if they wanted to fool Amazon Prime by selling trash!
