I am only writing this to warn viewers not to waste their time on this frustrating unsatisfying series that leaves he central question of who murdered Jack Wright unresolved. This Agatha Christie style whodunit series seduces viewers with interesting characters, great acting and lots of plot twists, dropping tons of hints and clues, but in the end reveals NOTHING but more cliffhangers that won't be resolved for two years at earliest and maybe not ever! I have never been angrier at Britbox for wasting my time and money. Don't they watch these series in their entirety before they agree to air them? Hey, Britbox, why don't you make sure your programs have an ending before teasing and leaving your subscribers high and dry?!
Unlike other Bowie documentaries I've seen, this one digs deep and interviews people who knew him from childhood and throughout his life. Apart from his relationships with Iman, his children, and personal secretary Corrine "Coco" Schwab, they explore every other aspect of his life. While there is plenty of the artistic hero worship you'd expect, it also reveals several of the people David Bowie used and betrayed with callous disregard. I once met the actress Candy Clark who starred with Bowie in the film "The Man Who Fell to Earth." When I asked her what it was like to work with him, she said "Isn't he weird?! Would you believe he didn't talk to me once during the whole filming?!" That was during his cocaine period that almost killed him. The film could have said a lot more about how Coco Schwab saved his life during that time and never left his side from then until his death.
