Though the cases are intriguing and the show is generally well produced, the narration is awful and an insult to anyone who has lived in the South. The fake Southern accent....apparently done by a British woman....is hokey, stupid, unbearable, and infuriating. It sounds like something from an SNL parody of "Designing Women." Awful. It's amazing that anyone would even think this would have been a good idea. If the makers of this show wanted to capture yrue crimes that occur in this part of America, surely they would have hired a narrator with a REGULAR voice who is actually Southern. Male or female. This show is insulting. Awful. A must to avoid.

Little wit; found it quite dull, to be honest. Good performances all around (especially from NPH), but do we need another show about uppity, wealthy, wine-drinking New Yorkers?

Fascinating, in-depth true crime stories; however, I have seen several episodes with careless typos in the screen title cards ("supect" instead of "suspect," "tounge" instead of "tongue"). The show needs a proofreader!
