Not a lot of story but most defiantly a fun time was had the other day watching this at the cinema.

Afterlife is a cool concept of a Ghostbuster who gave up his life, his family even for the greater good of, well. Saving the world. When Egons granddaughter starts unraveling all the work he had previously done under his ghostly watch, you are surprised how chill she is to be receiving guidance from dead grandad. That aside, she cracks on and along with some other 'Goonie' type siblings and friends, she takes over the master plan and succeeds.

Not without a little help from the OG's of course.

This movie isn't a remarkable story. It lacks quite a bit of real substance but, for fans, it's a nice nod towards the franchise and a couple of hours of geeky fun.

Who doesn't love a group of misfits that are not really badies but a little bit naughty.

I like the Breakfast Club but for adults feel and wow, Christopher Walken rocks up. I was sold!

The Outlaws is a programme about a group of people who have been sent to take part in community service for their wrong doings. You have a typical set of different characters from varied backgrounds. We see each story unfold under the over arching message that if friends stick together, they can get through anything. No matter our differences as people.

That's always a nice thing to be reminded of isn't it?

Especially at this time in the world.

Merchants skills for making an all round great production really shine here. A great mix of comedy and thriller with the writing and performances managing to not get too cringe, when at times it could have. Though also not airing on the side of fluffy either.

Funny yet a little gritty to keep you hooked. This is a really good show and look forward to series two.

Awesome writing, well performed and a new fav actress in Jess Gunning.

I know, I know... It's not historically correct. They all speak English. Some of the customs are blurry and not in the correct context.

I'm with you all on that, sure!

But wow, it's entertaining isn't it?

There are too many seasons and far too many episodes for me to deep dive into here and yeah, some have been better than others. But on the whole, 'Vikings' is one of the best, well... Viking shows I've seen.

It's a series where everyone will have their fav because of who the story is mainly following at that time. There are characters you will love and many you will loath.

There are some story lines that drag and others you want to journey on forever and sail away in a longship together.

'Vikings' is a good show and one that although perhaps not on the correct timeline, gives an historical idea via the moving image of their history and impact on our world today.

If you are UK based, there is no doubt you'll want a visit to the Jorvik Viking centre in York once you've finished watching it.

So get your horn, fill it with mead and enjoy the show.
