Although not a great film "10 top Midnight" is a good action film with many excellent scenes and some top-rated performances throughout. Bronson is Bronson and does an excellent turn as the police detective who knows who the bad guy is, but has his hands tied by a screwed up legal system and more women have to die before justice is served - Bronson style. Geoffrey Lewis - an excellent character actor - does a great job as a sleazy attorney. Gene Davis, who appears nude throughout the film, should have received an award for the most nude scenes in a major production by a male actor. Also Davis is one of the best psychos ever put on film.

What was the point of this mess? Beyond boring with a massive waste of an excellent cast there seemed to be no point to the story. No one seemed to have any idea what they were supposed to be doing - aka a complete lack of direction. Visually interesting but even those quirky sets grew annoying in a very short order. I hope Spain made Anderson clean up the mess he made of the pristine desert location. I would appear as if Anderson was trying to flaunt his reputation for quirkiness by going even deeper into hat well of "look what I can gt away with." I regret having wasted my limited time - I'm a REALLY old guy - on this one, but plead guilty to sticking it out hoping for something, anything, of substance.

Expected better from Odenkirk. Kept waiting for something - anything - to happen and it never did. A lot of characters with nothing to do. Another reviewer mentioned mundane, yeah, it was surely that and sadly my own life is mundane enough without investing any time in watching it on TV. I will most likely give it another go to see if they figure out what viewers might like to see.

No comparison with "Breaking Bad" or "Better Call Saul" is necessary. Anyone looking for that is way off base, but I feel Odenkirk, if given decent material, could make even this mess watchable.

Only high-point for me was seeing Nancy Robertson.
