The greatest film of all time. Full of spectacle likely not to be seen in a motion picture again. The sheer magnificence of this film is on a epic scale, the replica ship is so detailed it makes it look real. Kate Winslet is a great lead with some solid supporting performances especially Frances Fisher as Rose's mother Ruth and Gloria Stuart as Old Rose. It's a modern classic with iconic scenes and lines. Yes it might be over long and a little corny but James Cameron provided the late 90s with a masterpiece and changed the big budget blockbuster forever. A special mention to James Horner's score.

Yes!!!! They got it just right. As a big fan of the original in 1997 I was completely satisfied with this sequel which honours the first two movies very well. I won't post any spoilers but there was a real wow moment for me which I loved. The film is littered with nods to the first movie and even some hints at other slasher films, I spotted a reference to the Drew Barrymore death scene from Scream (1996). The legacy characters work and most of the new characters were actually quite interesting, I particularly liked Madelyn Cline as Danica. Stay for the credits as there is a further surprise fans will enjoy.
