Tamyko Vassel's journey is a dynamic fusion of passion, talent, and perseverance. Growing up amidst the vibrant cultural tapestry of Brooklyn, she discovered her love for the arts early on, diving into dance, performing, and modeling. Balancing these artistic ambitions with academic goals, Tamyko earned a degree in Business, Management, and Finance from Brooklyn College.

Her breakthrough came in 2012 with a role on "Celebrity Ghost Stories," where she portrayed Shari Headley. To deepen her craft, Tamyko studied with Anthony Abeson, focusing on method acting and Lee Strasberg techniques. This dedication led to significant roles, including an appearance on the "Meredith Vieira Show" as LaToya Luckett and a supporting role in the acclaimed horror short "Evil Rising."

Tamyko's career took another leap when she trained with the legendary Wynn Handman, founder of the American Place Theatre. Under Handman’s mentorship, she excelled and performed in playwright Elaine Jackson’s "CockFight," playing the role of Reba. She then joined The Black Panterettes comedy sketch troupe, where she not only performed but also delved into writing sketch comedy, revealing her passion for diverse genres.

Recently, Tamyko has been seen on "The Kelly Clarkson Show" and has booked national commercials. She continues to refine her craft under the guidance of Billy Lyons, embodying the belief that growth and learning in the arts is a lifelong journey.
