Superman II is an awesome sequel. It's not just his arch-nemesis Lex Luthor, but you've also got 3 Kryptonian criminals serving as Lex's cronies. General Zod (The Fascist), Ursa (The Second Banana) and Non (The dumb one).

I remember when my parents introduced me to Superman, when a defunct TV Channel from Philadelphia known as PRISM (Philadelphia Regional In-home Sports and Movies) used to show those movies. Those were the days in my early years.

Christopher Reeve was the definitive Superman. Gene Hackman was the absolutely perfect Lex Luthor and Margot Kidder was the best choice to play Lois Lane.

I grew up on Nintendo and understood the Easter eggs throughout the entire film. If you kids of the '80s grew up on Nintendo, then you gotta check this movie out. I even got to meet Charles Martinet, back in 2018 at a video game expo. This is nothing like the 1993 Super Mario Bros. Movie, which was released by Disney under the Hollywood Pictures banner. This movie was released by Universal Pictures in partnership with Nintendo. What's even better is that you got a star-studded voice cast. Jack Black did a good job voicing King Koopa. Keegan Michael Key as Toad, Seth Rogen as Donkey Kong, Anya Taylor-Joy as Peach, Charlie Day as Luigi and Chris Pratt as Mario.

This movie is so awesome! Anyone who grew up on the SEGA game should check this movie out! You got Jim Carrey as Dr. Eggman and you got Idris Elba as the voice of Knuckles. I have been a fan of that lovable hedgehog ever since the first video game was released.
